Custom Cabinetry and countertops
Cabinetwork has long been central
to my woodworking occupation; the hard rock maple doors and
facings above were applied over existing site-built cabinets.
This is often an economical way to remodel if the underlying cabinets
are solid and well-built.
Custom touches can make all the difference! This custom-made
Honduras mahogany knife rack and cutting board are recessed into
the countertop where they are easy to reach, but never in the way.
Sometimes there's no ready-made solution to a space problem. This
printer workstation (for a hospiral office) has a bin for stacking
paper, a bay for fanfold sheets with 2 slots that feed 2 kinds of
forms up to a printer, and a retractable keyboard tray.
It is simply made with red oak plywood and veneer edgebanding.
